David And Victoria Beckham Just Poked Fun While People Are Praising Their Sense Of Humor

When the Beckham docuseries premiered on Netflix in October, nobody was expecting it to be quite so entertaining. The four-part series chronicles British soccer legend David Beckham’s rise to fame from his working class roots, and all of the trials and tribulations that came with it.
Naturally, David’s wife of more than 20 years, Victoria Beckham, also features heavily in the show, and fans were left delighted by this rare insight into their relationship. While David and Victoria are no strangers to showing off their picture-perfect romance on social media, Beckham treated us all to much more candid moments — one of which ended up going hugely viral.
You see, despite the fact that Victoria’s Spice Girls alter ego is literally “Posh Spice,” in the viral scene the star is adamant that her upbringing was just as humble as her husband’s. Speaking to the camera for the documentary, she says of her family: “We’re very working class,” only for David’s head to pop out from behind a door as he sternly interrupts: “Be honest!”
“Uh, I am being honest,” Victoria replies, with David repeatedly urging her to tell the truth. He then asks: “What car did your dad drive you to school in?” As Victoria dances around the question, insisting that it’s “not a simple answer,” David refuses to back down and tells her to answer the question.
Finally, Victoria relents and admits: “OK, in the ‘80s my dad had a Rolls-Royce,” at this point David seems satisfied and says “Thank you” before backing out of the room and closing the door.
