The Swiss great described Novak Djokovic as “the party crasher of Rafa and Roger fans” when he arrived on the scene to muscle in on their battle for major titles. Federer also believes the 24-time major winner has been “a little bit misunderstood”.

Swiss player Federer was the first to win a Grand Slam in 2003, with Nadal following suit a couple of years later before Djokovic claimed his maiden major in 2008.
