Nicole Kidman’s niece Lucia Hawley became flustered while interviewing Austin Butler at the State Theatre during the Sydney Film Festival. The 7Bravo reporter, 25, attempted to chat to Austin, 32, about his new movie The Bikeriders, but quickly became red-faced when he turned the tables on her.
In footage shared to Instagram, Hawley was seen introducing herself to the Elvis star, when in a surprise turn of events he began ‘interviewing’ her. ‘I don’t like talking about myself. Are you from Sydney?’ Butler asked her, and she said yes, joking that she was supposed to be the one asking the questions.
‘What else can you tell me, how old are you and what are you interested in?’ Butler enquired. Hawley responded that she was interested in art and Butler then asked her where she finds ‘cool’ artworks, prompting an embarrassed Lucia to burst into laughter.
‘I should probably jump into questions because this is my job. If I don’t, I will get into trouble,’ she joked.
Followers quickly took to the comment section to express their amusement over the hilarious clip, and joked that Butler – who is dating Kaia Gerber – was flirting with her.
