Victoria Beckham Breaks Free from Body Standards: ‘I Don’t Care What People Think Anymore
The former Spice Girl turned fashion designer, 50, has said she has stopped caring about what people think about her looks and loves indulging in wine, despite maintaining a ‘disciplined diet’.
Victoria can be seen showing off her new confident body image on the front cover of Grazia where the mother-of-four looks incredibly toned while wearing a lace bra under an open blazer.
But she admits in the accompanying interview that body insecurities once stopped her ‘watching her children play on the beach’.
She told the publication: ‘I never want to look like I’m complaining, but there were times in the past that I haven’t felt confident enough to sit on a beach and watch my children play.’
Victoria went onto say negative comments ‘don’t bother her now’ and she has become ‘more accepting’ of the way she looks.
The Spice Girl singer explained that she is ‘disciplined’ with her diet though and works out regularly but ‘life is too short’ for calorie counting. She said, ‘This is how I look. I’m going to make the best of it, work hard at it. I’m very disciplined with the way that I eat, the way that I work out and the way I work. That’s just who I am.
