Prince William followed in his father’s footsteps by burying the roots of three small mangroves in a protected area near the Island of Paquetá in Brazil. Wearing chinos and a dark green linen shirt, the heir to the throne took a boat tour through the Guapimirim mangrove conservation area, where he disembarked to plant the saplings.

Sir David Beckham looked incredibly smarted as he was knighted at Windsor Castle, and did you know who inspired his attire? The King himself! Sir David told the PA news agency: “He was quite impressed with my suit. He’s kind of the most elegantly dressed man that I know, so he inspired quite a few of my looks over the years and he definitely inspired this look.” He also revealed that his fashion designer wife was behind the bespoke creation. “It was something that my wife made me,” he said. “I looked at old pictures of him when he was quite young in morning suits and I was like, ‘OK, that’s what I want to wear,’ so I gave it to my wife and she did it.”
King Charles’ £3,500 artwork
It has been announced that 100 lithograph copies of King Charles painting of Highgrove House have gone on pre-sale for £3,500 each. The pieces are entitled ‘A View from the Wildflower Meadow’ and are signed by the King. Now, that would make a pretty special Christmas pressie! Fans will be flocking to the Highgrove Shop website, we’re sure.
