2024 Olympics golf schedule: When Nelly Korda, Scottie Scheffler tee off at Paris Games

This year, golf’s fourth and final annual major – the Open Championship – is not the last big tournament golfers will play in.

The 2024 Paris Olympic Games begin on July 26. The men’s golf tournament begins roughly one week after the opening ceremony, and the women’s tournament starts the following week.

Each tournament is a four-day affair using stroke play rules, like golf’s other big competitions and majors. The three golfers in each contest with fewest number of strokes after four days win medals. In 2024, Team USA will be looking to defend its sweep with Americans Xander Schauffele and Nelly Korda taking home the gold in their respective tournaments in 2021.

The men’s tournament will run from Thursday to Sunday the first week of August, while the women’s competition will start on the following Wednesday and end on Saturday.
