Andy Murray mocked his British rival Liam Broady after he suffered a car accident. The 30-year-old tennis player, whose highest ranking was World No. 93, recently withdrew from the Rothesay Open in Nottingham due to an unusual injury over the weekend.
Liam Broady shared with his fans on social media that he suffered a concussion after hitting his head on the trunk of his car. He also mentioned that he hopes to be back in a couple of weeks: “Some bad news… Was on track for next week but I hit my head on my car boot on Sunday evening quite hard.
This is not the first time they have had an exchange on social media. In January of this year, the former world No. 1 opined on a commentator’s criticism of Mirra Andreeva at the 2024 Australian Open:
