Billie Jean King comes forward to congratulate Evert’s new role as a grandmother
Chris Evert has become a grandmom and Bille Jean King didn’t waste a minute to congratulate the former American WTA star for her new role in the family. “Congratulations,” said King to her long-term friend.
Evert shared a great friendship with King for many years. During Evert’s initial phase of her Ovarian cancer, King remained very close to this former WTA star. King also sent a very sweet note through Twitter to support Evert while she was struggling with cancer – “We send our love and support to @ChrissieEvert. You are in our thoughts and prayers always.” Now on Evert’s big day, King’s best wishes delighted the fraternity’s heart with so much love.
